Are the RTA Awards a contest or a competition?
The RTA Awards is an International competition for Visual Artists. All entries are working toward the top placement(s). We are NOT a contest that uses a panel of judges to determine if someone’s artwork is ‘better than’ another entry’s work. We believe in equality for all entries. To be an approved entry into our Global Gallery, our team does decide on whether or not entries are acceptable, but in order to win, this is entirely based on the individual Artist’s effort to gain support from their tribe.
Is the Respect The Artists™ (RTA) Awards - Artist Competition unsafe or a scam?
We are a team of REAL Artists providing REAL opportunities. Click here to check out the our stack of testimonials that winners and participants submitted to us! Our team and members are based out of Virginia, and several other locations in the United States. Respect The Artists Enterprises, LLC is a legal entity and legitimate company, established in 2019. We have over 7 Million votes submitted to support Artists, Thousands of dollars rewarded to Artists, over 30,000 supporters on our platforms, and over 20,000 unique visitors to a single competition.
How do the RTA Awards work?
Always be sure to read the rules, terms, and conditions with each competition. Generally speaking here’s how it works: approved entries compete by getting votes from their supporters. Purchased votes allow us to present Cash Prizes, along with Global Promotion and media on multiple platforms. The RTA Awards is based on each entry’s efforts, not viewpoints, perspectives, or opinion.
How can I WIN the RTA Awards?
Simply put, tell your family and friends to vote for you and share the Vote Ballot Link, specific to the competition you entered. Pro Tip: post the link on your social media accounts, such as Facebook, or in your bio on Instagram or post the link in your Instagram Story, along with a photo of your artwork entry. You’d be surprised how many people are willing to vote for you! We suggest going over other tips on how to win by clicking here!
Can I vote for myself?
The short answer: Yes! You may vote for yourself and you may vote for other entries, if you’d like to support in that way! Do not be shy to vote for your own masterpiece! You’d be surprised how many artists do not take advantage of showing support for their own artwork (wow)! Be sure to check the terms and conditions of the competition you entered.
Is there a limit to how many times I vote for myself or other entries?
FREE Votes: No more than 1 Every 24 Hours.
PAID Votes: Unlimited.
Usually if there is a limit, then all entries and voters are notified of a limit or a timeframe limit.
I don’t know enough people. How can I gain votes?
The beautiful thing about the RTA Awards is that you don’t need to be popular to win. You need the right amount of support from the right people in your support group. This is key to remember.
We’ve had winners with support groups of less than 10 people!
Where does the money from purchased votes go?

Do I have to pay an Entry Fee?
As each competition varies, we aim to have the opportunity for Artists to have Free Entry. For some competitions that have an entry fee this is for our panel to review your artwork and decide if your masterpiece(s) is one in which we would like to represent by exhibiting it on our sites and socials, if applicable. We credit you always, as potential buyers, collectors, and supporters constantly express interest to connect with our Artists.
Will my photos submitted for the RTA Awards be sold or mishandled?
Your information and privacy is respected and of the utmost importance. We understand how transparency is vital to the success of the RTA Awards and our reputation as a safe haven for Visual Artists. Your submissions will never be sold to a third party or used in any way outside of what the terms and conditions of each competition state.

Do I have to be a Member to win the RTA Awards?
Currently, competitions are OPEN to ALL ARTISTS! We strongly encourage artists to join RTA as you will understand the sense of community we have and how imperative it is for creatives to unite. Joining RTA allows Creatives to learn, network, receive professional Artist Coaching and Business advice, and encourage each other with personal and professional endeavors.
